Types of IELTS: Academic and General Training.
Academic module is for persons who want to continue there studies Abroad. Whereas, People who want to migrate to another country have to clear general module.
There are four parts in both IELTS modules:
IELTS Listening: It is made up of 4 parts with 40 questions and lasts up to 40 min. Both general and academic students take the same test.
IELTS Reading: There are 3 passages with 40 Questions which lasts for 1 hour. Academic and general students have different reading passages.
IELTS Speaking: It is face to face interview with the examiner, which divided into 3 parts and lasts up to 11-15 mins.
IELTS Writing: It is divided into two parts, Task-1 and Task-2. there is a little difference between the general and academic module. Go to the writing section to learn more.
